Project : Diversion and underground works on the M-111 road

Diversion and underground works on the M-111 road

MADRID, Spain

This project deals with the access to the Control Tower in the extension of Barajas Airport, Madrid.

This branch off the main work structure are the tunnels, and they have been carried out using trolleys. The branch is in the shape of a trumpet so its width section is variable.

Due to the distribution of the steel fixing, the concreting of the walls and vault together must be done so in such a way that all the formwork systems used to resolve the structure had to fit in.ORMA for straight walls and those with a curvature radius that enable it to be carried out using a polygonal shape. BIRA to carry out the main pillar whose radius is too small to enable it to be carried out using a polygonal shape.Frame formwork to resolve the vault and the flat formwork in the central area.Works have been carried out in three stages, using the OC Shoring for the first stage, and the T-60 Shoring for the second and third.
