Project : Flushing Line viaduct pillars (Restoration on Queens Boulevard)

Flushing Line viaduct pillars (Restoration on Queens Boulevard)

NEW YORK, USA

The Flushing Line is an arch-based viaduct that was built in the early 1900s. The 128 pillars that make up the viaduct needed structural restoration. The pillars varied in height between 14 and 35 feet.

The ULMA Construcción Technical Department designed a tailor-made metal formwork to solve the special concreting stages that were required in this restoration project.
