This was the project for building a Bridge over the Bóbr River. It has three sections, and each section is 57 m long. The bridge segment of 14.55 m has two frames. These are 271 cm high, and their width varies between 70 and 94 cm. Support segment flanges are 3.25 m wide.
The bridge saves the 40 m wide river ford. During the execution of the project, the foundations were designed right in the river stream to support a 2 ton load.
One of the challenges faced was the continual flooding of the river basin.
In regards to the use of aluminum props (ALUPROP), it is important to state that thanks to their load capacity, it was possible to use them as beam supports.
